Bair In Ohio - 1980 Fiat Spider

New to the board. Picked up an 1980 Fiat Spider. Have bled all the brake lines and now the car stops. I believe it had sat for some time. Tightened up a few things in engine and replaced leaking valve cover gasket and a dead spark plug. I am really enjoying the car so far even though I only have driven it around the block a few times. Car was a little rougher than the ad and picture suggested but I went with it anyways. I like a challenge.

Right now the pain in my butt is the headlights. I have no headlights. is there a trouble shoot list on here somewhere for this? I've done plenty of searching and have not located anything on it. Lights are good, hooked direct to battery and they lit up. All other lights work.

Welcome to the zoo. The mantra for all Fiat electrical problems is ground, ground, ground. Your headlights ground to a grounding star on each front inner fender. clean those locations first and see if that does the job. Also worthwhile is to pull all your fuses (under dash to the left of the steering column). give them a good clean and test. also clean the contact points in the fuse box and squeeze the tabs together to get more tension on the fuses.
