/img]I am located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I currently have three cars and they are all totally different beasts. My latest acquisition is a
1974 Fiat Spider 1800
I was looking at MIni Austins, MGBs and Triumph Spitfires. While looking I saw an ad for a Burgandy 1974 Fiat Spider. I emailed set up a meet and was hooked on the spot. Sometimes that can turn into a nightmare but so far turned out well.

She passed the safety no problem but of course the ownership did not match the VIN. The Ministry told me I would have to get a validation from a Fiat dealership. I contacted our local Dodge\Fiat dealership got a certification letter from them spent an hour and a half at the Ministry NO CIGAR. They needed a letter direct from Fiat. I got a little pissed at that point and told them a few things in a few languages. Must have been the Italian influence from the car.

Off to another dealership to try again. Luckily they had a huge cake to celebrate Canada day which unruffled my feathers. They called the local ministry for me and told them I was on my way and to TAKE CARE of me. They did no problem. I will post pictures later when I figure out what I am doing. I am hoping this site is like my other car site Tri Five as I also have a 1956 Chev which I am in the process of selling. Anything I ever wanted to know about parts, where to buy what type how to disassemble, assemble modify etc etc. was available and a great bunch of friendly and knowledgeable people.
Ps I am a research fanatic and I have just retired in time to really play with my toys.
Pss. I was shopping a few days ago and come out of a store and I spot an Angelic vision called Angelina and it was not Jolie. It was Spider Dan 1968 Spider. I am standing there drooling as he comes out of a store and walks over. We start talking Spiders and I machine gun questions What type of oil? Where do you get parts? What clubs? Mechanics? engine size? Dan is an awesome guy we exchanged emails and he immediately fired off some links to me and FiatSpider.com was the first. Anyways my first part was ordered from Germany a few days ago for the clip that goes on the shifter which was damaged which holds the extension on.I might switch to a shorter one at some point.
Anyways I think I had to much expresso this morning. Glad to be aboard.
