On the driver side under the rear window the chrome trim is sitting on top of the rubber. I would like to remove the chrome piece then set the rubber correct and replace it. Can someone explain how to remove it without damaging the chrome stirip
You will note the end of the rubber strip has been tucked under the metal lip that secures the top. Yes I will need to address refitting the top but it needs a new window and I am hoping the guys that do that will know how to refit it.

The chrome strip is pressed on. At the door post end, try and get under and pry up. In the past I put a piece of cardboard down on the paint and got under the chrome and pried up.
A rubber mallet aids in putting the strip back on.
