LED strip lighting

has anyone installed LED strip lighting under the dash to help illuminate the interior at night? if so, do you ahve any advice for a first-time LED installer? need to know what types/colors of lights to get / avoid, install tricks, etc. thanks.

we did a couple of cars with strip lighting under the dash and in the trunk. Due to the brightness, I made sure it was indirect.

I've used them here is a photo of my friends trunk not much help but this is all i have right now, I put a nice stereo
system in his car while doing so added the lighting it's brighter for sure.

I found LED tape at the local autozone and stuck them to the bottom of the dash cross beam switched with the door jamb switches. Very simple and nice light.
