New 2000 Owner - So.California

Greeting all,

Just wanted to pop in and introduce myself.
The name is Gonzalo, and I'm a brand new 2000 owner. I picked it up from a gentleman in SC, who I'm sure is a member of this forum.

So far, we've been from SC to NY, then NY to CA in under a week. Other than high altitude carb issues, ran beautifully.

I am new to Fiats, and I am new to mechanics altogether. I picked up this beautiful 1980 2000 to get my hands dirty and learn a bit of how things work with a simple set-up under the hood.

PS: The dullness of the picture, blame it on a nice downpour in Tulsa, followed by hours of dust storms in the TX panhandle. Yikes.

Welcome. That's a lot of driving - if the Fiat made it OK then you have a really solid car!

Thanks folks... even with the terrible gas mileage I'm currently getting (working on it, see thread in the tuning section) I am still having plenty of fun.
