Exhaust questions.

While I'm waiting for the replacement upper heater box, figured I'd drain the coolant, replace the radiator fan switch I'd planned to do all along, and since I had the car on jack stands, work on the exhaust and e-brake projects.
Old "generic" cobbled exhaust is off the car, as well as the original downpipe (glad I'm replacing it....two holes, top and bottom, at the "Y"). Question # 1: I have a new downpipe gasket; should I squeeze a small bead of exhaust gasket sealer on both sides, or just bolt it up as is?
Second: does anyone have a pic of where the bolt on exhaust bracket fastens? I'm searching for the bolt hole under the car, and coming up empty. Csaba sent along a really nice looking clamp/bracket assembly, I just have to figure out where it goes.
New exhaust system all laid out alongside the car. Using AR's performance system. Laying it alongside the PO's system, I can really appreciate why the car was so noisy (knocks and rattles). E-brake comes next (tired of using Chunk, Pine, Treated, 4x4x18, Mrk I), then back into the interior.
TIA
Neil
