Nice touch with the strip on the door. I'd be thinking it would be preventing any chipping should it bang up against any thing.
The tires are Yokohama s drives?
Car looks great. Any engine mods or have to stick to stock or close to it because of smog requirements.
Which brings me to the question can you mod the later engines to any degree and still pass smog in CA?

it's a customer car, not mine. The tires are Cooper. Engine is stock with just some dress up done to it and the addition of our ignition system. This car does require smog checks. We can get away with some mods but Calif keeps tightening the standards every 6 months so you can't get too radical. This color has gotten tons of compliments the past week, and convinced several visitors to convert their cars' to orange when their project gets to the paint stage
Orange has been my plan for quite some time. I think I'm leaning slightly more toward the red end of the orange spectrum though. Here's my benchmark at the moment. McLaren Volcano Orange:

these cars look so good orange. where I live, when you see an orange car you figure it's a fan car for the UT football team. Nothing wrong with that, but I remember the first time (in NY, not TN) I saw an orange 124 and realized what a nice color it is for these cars. Of course, I don't think I'd ever own one here....
