This is a shot of my Spider when I first got it. The factory springs where heavily cut by the Jerrari shop and were basically shot when I got it. (the link shows the photo better)

Here it is today after a set of lowering springs were added. The springs were a set of the yellow springs from Vick Autosport with one coil cut off. I am contemplating cutting one more off to get it closer to where it was when I got it.

wow love that color !!! do u know the color code it looks like positano yellow thats the color i want to make the green 69 i just got

It is Positano Yellow. I liked the color enough that when I restored my 88 BMW 325is, I painted it the same color. BTW, congrats on the '69 Spider. I am a fan of the early AS series Spiders. I've owned a '77 and '76 and the build quality of the '69 seems to be a notch above my other Spiders. Little things like the real wood dash, engine lighting and enameled badges stand out. Plus, they seem a bit more rust resistent than the later cars, but that might just be the luck of the draw for my car.

With regards to the question of how the ride is...a little harder. However, it does seem to corner better. The turbo wheels are 14's with Falken 912's at 195/60/14.

What ever you do, don't go too low, you will cause all sorts of issues and really upset the handeling. The A arms from the front view need to be parralell to the ground as a minimum, the T124 write up on suspension is worth the read.
I have changed the stub axles on my car as well, so that does change the stance.

I certainly did notice that one piece bumper and was about to ask the question when I noticed your post. I'm not sure if I'm put off yet!
