Post by fiat218 »

i have one of so cal marks wireless ignition on the 79
it is out of time i think so i am wondering do u just set it like any other distributor, loosen the nut and turn the unit /thanks
it has dual carbs , idf 40 i belive and when i run the car i feel it surging back some , as if it was missing

are all engines on the fiat timed at the same mark, the top notch ?

you can time our system with a timing light if the engine is idling. If you have a timing light with advance, you have to keep the advance on the light at 0. Set the initial timing at 12btdc at idle

it seems to be missing, but reading about the dual idf's , it could be the carbs
