Has anyone here attempted to replace their own windshield and have any tips .......?

Took mine to a local glass guy. Looked like there were too many pitfalls for a do it your self project. I know someone here who tried it himself and it didn't go so well

Spider windshield is very easy to install. Remove cowl panel. That way you can be sure to seat the gasket, on the 79-on cars there are 2 clamps there too. Bolts right on very straight forward. Take your time

Try searching the forum. I've done it several times on a few different spiders. I've written a few paragraphs on the experiences, what tips and tricks, what to expect, and what can go wrong.

thats what I haven't been able to figure out here on the forum..........how you can search the archives for subjects you wish to research...........how do I get to your windshield "paragraphs"? Do I have to read every subject
