Hi,

Does anyone know what the

124Sport

badge font is?

What any other FIAT and/or Spider fonts might be?

Thanks,
Mark

You can look through that site and most likely find it, or something pretty close.

There is a member named James Ellis who knows a lot about the Fiat badges. He may be able to help you out, however I do not remember what his user name is. Search custom Fiat badge and I'll bet his threads pop up.

I did a quick search and couldn't find any photos of spiderjim's modified consol. Narfire, would you have any more info that might help me track down pictures of what Spiderjim did to his car? I bought a couple of his Spider and Pininfarina script badges, and I love them. He is very talented and makes quality stuff.

Post some pics of what you're looking for. I do graphics stuff and may recognize it or be able to find something pretty darn close.

Looks like there are few fonts there at first glance. Especially that "S". I'll put out an APB on the fontography. Seems like something that would have to be custom designed into a vector file.

Hi,

Thanks! If it comes to the later I know a kid who needs the practice/experience.

Ciao,

For a very long time, I've wanted a special badge to "match" the 124 Sport badge...

Instead of the "1600" script emblem, I'd love it if someone could make me a "2000" badge (since I dropped a 2L into my early car!)

should be easy to pull off, Lee, since you are a Chicago guy. Find a waterjet shop and take the 1600 emblem and tell them what you want. Maybe Don Raugust will throw in his two bits worth since he is in the graphics business.

I have just left that job but have prospects on 2 others in the biz.

If I had a pic of the 1600 badge I still may be able to work up some art for you to get one made though, I have the programs at home.

Yes waterjet or a router guy would be a good idea for getting something made, router may be better if the badge is like the 1800 with a background. Router can do 3D shapes where as the waterjet can only cut out an outline.
Either one should be able to make a sweet looking badge though.
