what is o/d of the stock exhaust system, and what is the biggest system should be used on a stock car (just for a better sounding system)

"Better Sounding" is a relative issue. better sounding exhaust and the methods to get there are as wide and varied as those wishing to post a reply.
How much are you willing to spend to get the sweet sound you desire? personally, stock size can produce a very satisfying resonance when the cat is removed and a dual tipped ANSA is put at the back end. low cost, nice curb appeal, and great sound that does not attract unwanted attention. add a 4-2-1 manifold and down pipe and experience some added boost to performance as well.
