I'm still convinced it stunted my growth and I'm really supposed to be 5'7". I cried when she traded it in when I was 13, and at 15 I bought my own '79. It was a wreck, but it ran until my brother totaled it after taking it without my permission. I've longed for another ever since.And now, finally, I got one. A 1980. White right now, but I'll bring it back to its original silver--red interior, and automatic. It's not my ideal, but I am very excited about restoring it myself, and I hope that in learning on this one, I'll be ready for my next one.
I've already surfed the boards and appreciate how much experience and generous help there seems to be here--looking forward to learning...
