Pix of bumperless REAR?
Pix of bumperless REAR?
As I look into the bumperless look for my car, I have been trying, with no real results (grittracing's 2000 being the only one so far), to find any pix of how people have done the rear of a Spider with a bumperless look. Looking at the red Pininfarina at the top of this web site's page, for example, I would love to see a shot of the back. I'd just like to see some ideas from anyone who has removed the bumpers.... how did you finish them off, and how does it look?

In my opinion the bumper blocks are the best choice for the price, if you need for the front also. I have not found a set for the rear only for a price I want to pay. I may just make my own as a few others have after I complete my X 1/9 project. I don't like the look of just the rubber grommets on the rear but I think it looks much better than it does with the rear bumper. Here is a shot of mine, there are a few more in my photobucket album.

I also plan to remove mine so would like to see what people have done too.
I like the blockoff plates grittracing makes for the front holes, maybe they would fit the back ones too?
I havn't taken my bumpers off yet to know if the holes are the same.

Due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil, we have decided to turn off the light at the end of the tunnel. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Re: Pix of bumperless REAR?
I changed mine completely. I made custom bumberettes that I'll have on in about a week.
I made the bumber holes reverse light sockets. Look at my avatar to see it with the lights.
