I did it again! Bought another '82 today. AT. intended to buy it as a spare parts car but the chassis, shock towers, and trunk are perfect and it runs! $1000 delivered with title.
A bit dusty
A little bit o rust. Right w.w. clear
needs seat covers, eh?
Any body ever seen one of these before? It takes about 50 turns to crank the window up or down. The passenger side even has a color matched button that fits the hole. Will a normal crank go in its place?
Dash top is perfect, not a dash cover. Conv. top needs to be replaced. My wife appreciated that I warned her before she came home and saw it taking up HER spot in the garage.

Good looking car for the money! Don't you just hate when they're too nice to part out? I don't usually have that problem.
Must have power windows to have the cranker too.

Ever changing count of parts cars....It's a disease!
Looks like a very decent purchase.
I was looking at a set of those wheels not long ago,but the owner wanted $1000.00.(did'nt bite)
Now to put a battery powered drill on the window crank and you have power windows

The emergency window crank came with the electric window option. I picked up a pair at a wrecking yard even though I don't have electric windows. I thought surely someone must need them. Sure enough, they were snapped up quickly.

Thanks everybody for your support. I was told it needed a fuel pump. Took the old one out, it looked new (filter too), hooked it up to a battery and ..., it pumped backward. With great wisdom, I switched + and - and it pumped forward. After determining the polarity of the wires under the car, reinstalled and voila! It starts right up then dies at idle unless you rev it long enough to get the temp up to about 140 degrees, then it will idle all day. Is this a temp sending unit issue?
All lights work even though the emergency flasher button will flash on right turns.
All gauges worked until I drove it with the lights on. Killed the gas gauge, but sometimes it flicks up.
Brakes are good.
Now that I know I have power windows, they don't work. I guess I'll pull the panels to see if it is the motors or a wiring issue.
The AT is very finicky, doesn't catch first gear until you rev the car, sometimes it wont upshift to 3rd, just revvs higher and higher, car moves A LITTLE faster. If I let off the gas, sometimes it shifts up, sometimes it doesn't.
Thanks for any insights.
