Some places had to have a sledgehammer treatment .







I made a couple of spacers to lower the back of trany a little bit.

What trans did you swap in? What was it originally from?

Its a 5 spd from Fiat 131.

Fabricated gearbox cover out of sheet aluminum .

Then I found a brand new 1976 toolbox with its original tag.







I had f few Italian badges around my garage , so I got them all and screwed them to the toolbox.

Very nice! Do you have any issues with your header being wrapped? I was contemplating doing the same thing to lower my under hood temperature.

All relays were moved to one location and I'll build some kind of cover for them later

Hi Gene,
I have an owner's manual for a Special T which I thought would help me get to know my Spider but apart from the very valuable info that the green light on dash means headlights are on , its not much help (that green light had me worried about pressures and temperatures for about 20 miles !) Of course if you just happen to have a Spider manual to swap I'd be very pleased !
Do you need the manual ?
