Looking forward to seeing what the car can do once dialed in. My guess is if you addressed all the major items you should hit 120 HP at the wheels easy with the build described. possible even get up in the 130's. Keep posting.

Still saving up for another trip to the dyno. I had hoped to be further along by now but it simply hasn't worked out that way.

TX82FIAT I'm hoping you are right, but I've learned to pace my enthusiasm.

No updates yet. I’ve been working a lot lately and haven’t had the time to take the car in.

Sorry to keep you guys hanging but trust me, I am as excited as you are and maybe more.

For those of you watching and waiting, I am still trying to get the car back to the dyno but we’ve entered the busy season at work and I just don’t have the time.

I’m really looking forward to it though and will post results along with anything we adjust while I’m there.

I took the car to the same shop and same dyno as I had done a year ago and here is where I landed...

Currently at the wheels I am enjoying:
Max torque 112
Max hp 102

Previously had:
Max torque 108
Max HP 94

I still have the same dip in my torque curve, which is most likely a result of my cam profile. I've got regrinds, not billets, and did the install/break-in myself.. both details could be contributing factors.

Spent a full day at the shop this time. Took our time and went though everything.

Interestingly enough, adjusting my cam pulleys only dropped my numbers, so this time around I must have gotten pretty close to setting them up correctly.

The car does pull stronger and deeper into the RPM range than before, which I suspected and the new graph proves.

Overall I've very happy and probably will not adjust anything further for quite some time. I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record but the car is running better than ever before and has, quite literally, never before been this much fun to drive.

Next on the list of things to modify will be my cold air intake. For the last year I've been using MegaLog Viewer and collecting data on the air temperature as it is entering the engine. You'd be surprised to see that it's quite a bit warmer than you might think, even with a direct source of outside "cool" air. Currently I am using aluminum tubing wrapped in heat shield to direct air to the plenum, but have recently read that carbon fiber tubing does a much better job of keeping the incoming air cool.

I am also very currious about what a big, bad, billet cam, or two, could add... but the overtime budget is about to dry up for the summer so that will have to wait until next year.
