Good morning. I bought these from Bruce's parts about a year and a half ago( about $400 Can. after exchange and delivery to Oroville WA.). I looked around for prices and after missing out on a set on e-bay I ended up with these. I thought with the exchange at the time these would work/ best I could do. They are the solid rubber ones with a piece of flat bar for a support. Suposedly they work better in the cars prior to the tube bumpers. I'm working on a way to mount in the rear tube holes.( going to have to pull the fuel tank I think) 1 1/2 inch pipe with part of the top & bottom cut out to access the bumperette flatbar with spacers ect. I'll try and get some photos.

Sorry Kuhndg, I just posted the pics for Narfire so it's not my car. I do have the same bumperettes he does that came from Bruce's Parts Bin and even though they were meant for the early bumper cars the fit isn't exact. Here's a pic of how it fits to the body of one of my 72 model projects:

The back fits better:

Denise, are you sure that rusty car can support the weight of the bumper blocks? The original bumpers are probably laying in a road somewhere!!

Mark, since you make a living working on these you should know that Fiat built a feature into their cars that is meant to reduce weight as the engine wears to maintain horsepower. This particular car had a badly worn out engine.

That is the way we lighten vehicles in the South.Just let em rust in the yard for 10 years.A good wind will blow hickory shells at it ,and there is your media blast. Then prime er up with some good cans of Rust o leum, and drag it into the living room! :D Oh,yeah..remove the family of possums and send them to SoCalMark.Seems like he has a taste for them!

Hey Craig,I take it your from GA. The car I kind of modeled mine after was from Savana. Google "ragno volante" flying spider . Perhaps its yours or someone you might know. Looks great though.

I know this subject comes up from time to time and there are many different ways solve this problem. I found this site while looking for a rear fog light. They have many different styles of indicators that could be used. Check it out. http://www.s-v-c.co.uk/lights_indicators.html I have also run across a couple other lights that may work. One was the indicators from an early triumph, the other was the indicators from an early Jeep CJ. Both are round and would look nice just dont know the dimensions and if they would fill the holes on the Spider. I just thought of this while typing. '65 and '66 Mustangs had indicator housings that may work too.
