Sometimes a bolt that has backed out a bit will chirp like that against a pulley or perhaps the flywheel.

Auto Trans fluid is fine, I guess, since the level is supposed to be checked with warm engine.
Im getting some suggestions that the sound is two tone, air whistle.... I hope to have someone to crank the engine while I search for source of noise.

PROBABLY FIXED!!
Found an unblocked nipple on my intake manifold. Looks like the rubbery cap that was on there is missing. Maybe popped off during a backfire..? Put a piece of fuel line on the nipple, folded it over, ziptie to kink, and no more noise!
I think that makes sense, that the open nipple made the whistle, and the open flow of air messed with the delivery of fuel into the engine, (making it chug and die). A fake seize.. Now to put everything back together, and go for a drive.
What do you suggest for an improved cap for unused nipples?

Awesome that you found the issue Nathan, and while I can think of many jokes that could be built upon your set up line above, I shall resist. Suffice it to say that any auto parts store will sell rubber caps to block off unused ports. Might require a small hose clamp to hold in place, but easy to do.

Purchase the rubber caps at the auto-parts store and perhaps set them on with some IndianHead Shellac and a spring clamp or just silver solder a brass cap on them.
