The aluminum tunnel does not exist on mine just some brackets and such which hint that something was there. It will just be a pipe mod as the turbo does not allow much room for changing that without some very serious fabrication. Right now the exhaust header is machined from a solid block of metal or maybe some box tubing possible 3.5" square running along the side of the head accumulating the 4 exhaust ports into its chamber with the turbo bolted to the side of it. Once you get past the pipe connected to the exhaust outlet of the turbo that's when it gets really bad.

I'd like to find some pics of how the stock shields and pipe were installed with the gas engine to compare to see how far off what I have is. The video moves a little quick form my old eyes but does provide a starting point.

When the Diesel is cold and until it really warms up the exhaust rattle pretty badly up through the floor the way that have it suspended. It is better when the top is down and sounds much better from outside the car.
