Need advice on painting engine bay

Keeping it sharp - paint, wax, detailing, etc.

looks great, If you have not already considered, make sure you or the paint shop paint over the areas you applied POR 15 on. As i recall from doing the floor panels inside the car, POR 15 breaks down quickly for some reason in direct sunlight. Therefore, even the limited times the hood is up exposing part of the crossmember or the limited sunlight coming into the air vents by the cowl will break down the POR 15 over time.

Good point, I guess I'll need to paint that crossmember. Thanks!

If you go to the POR website you'll find they suggest you use their primer over the POR if you are going to paint it. Otherwise nothing sticks to the POR. They say their primer is the only one that works. FWIW.
