Oil temp gauge

Thank you all for the great feedback. I will go with the water temp gauge and I think it is best to have the tester in the sump. I have to figure out how to get it there. Probably drill a hole and than solder a nut from the inside, not sure about that yet.
As for the oil pressure, the sender will go in the second port by the oil filter.

Vandor, thank you for offering the sticker. Do you think it would work on my gauge with the pointer pointing up.
Where could I have a sticker made?

Sorry, my decal would not work on the later style gauge, the writing would be upside down
Look in your phonebook, there are probably sticker-shops in your area. If you are good with Photoshop you can design it yourself, and maybe even print it at home? I've heard of people doing that, but I do not know what all is required.

I have a couple in my possession but the cost of freight would be prohibitive for that item to come from Australia (compared to what you can get locally)

Are you willing to sell one of your spares and post down to Melbourne? I've been wanting to get an oil pressure guage for ages.
