Mothers Clay Bar

I went to Walmart a couple weeks ago and purchased a sealed box of the Mothers clay bars. Cost was $17 plus change. I got around to opening the box today and surprise, no clay bars, just the towels and spray. The box top was sealed but someone may have taken them out from the bottom. Doesn't look like it but I don't want to mess with it as I am going to return it. I did see on the Internet this is not the first time this has happened. But I think the bars were never in the box to start with. Merry Christmas to me, huh!

Never had that happen to me before. I did open up a Big Mac box from McDonalds once to find a sandwich with no meat.
You may be able to find more like that by just feeling the weight of the package. At least Walmart couldn't say you were trying to cheat them.

You couldn't tell by weight or feel. Comes in a box with a large spray bottle full of liquid and towels. The clay bars are small. I took in back, got a new one and opened it before exchanging it. They said people take the clay bars out. The boxes are sealed on the top but not the bottom.

i think there is 2 different packages liquid clay bar and clay bar both work good but the clay bar its self takes more elbow grease but works better. you could email the company and tell them. most companies will send you a coupon for another box

Good idea to contact the company - they are very accessible,and only when enough people tell them there's a problem will they perhaps look at changing the packaging design. I doubt Walmart and others would bother to tell them.
