loose mirror
loose mirror
if you have a loose mirror you may be missing your spring.if so and you cant afford a new mirror. you can replace your spring with one out of a trailer tail light. found at any auto parts store. for about $6.00
Re: loose mirror
is this referring to the side mirrors or the the central rear-view mirror?
Re: loose mirror
I may be a little dense here but could you be a bit more explicit about this.
My mirror was messed up when I got it and I have no idea what this spring looks like or where it goes.

Re: loose mirror
this is where the spring is in the canter mirror. you go to the auto parts store buy a $5.99 trailer (Stop and turn) tail light. they do sale just stop so be careful. than you take it apart and pull the spring out and replace it with the one in the mirror or the that should be in your mirror as mine was not there at all. i also pulled the clear glass out and stored it and mover the mirror glass forward to where the clear was. my clear was stained or faded or fogged. would not come off. there is a slit on the bottom of where the spring rests. compress the spring and squeeze it into place
hope this helps if you need more help feel free to ask -Tony

Thank so very much, Tony!
It all seems so clear now that I see it.
