Okay. The forum says 89 - 91 civic LX seats fit right in. "Take off the rails put on the rails from your fiat seats and they bold right in...".
I bought a pair of 90 Civix LX seats and I don't see how they could possibly bold right in. The holes that hold the rails on are 2 -3 inches wider than the fiat seat holes secured to the body of the car?
Am I missing something here, or are the posts regarding the Civic seats incorrect?
Can someone give me some step by step directions regarding putting these Civic seats into my Spider?
Thanks,
John B

I put Prelude seats in mine and I had to make brackets to attach the Fiat rails in the proper spot

I did the same and bought pair of racing seats on e-bay. No way you can install them and you will be to high. Check my post I'm i crazy and you will found what i did to fix them. The final results is very good. I love those seats.

Thanks for getting back to me.
Am I to assume then that all the information on the forum regarding these seats bolting right in is incorect?
I will make these work, but it is a little disheartening to find that all the information regarding these was bogus?
Thanks,
John B

by fitting, I would assume that they physically fit the space. Most seats are too wide for the Spider. Rarely if ever, will you find a part from another car that is a direct replacement with no mods needed
