I thought the wood interior upgrades from Spiderpoint were too expensive, so I had my late father turn me a black walnut shift knob that is shaped a bit more gracefully than the standard wood one. He also made the black walnut brake lever handle. I did the walnut accent strip on the doors ( I am rethinking these, they may stick out too far from the door panel, and I want to bung the screws), as well as the walnut trim piece in the door arm rests. I need to stain my pieces darker to match my father's, as his pieces better match the dark brown vinyl of my LE's dashboard and map bins. Eventually I will do a custom black walnut wood dash to match, and veneer the top of the ashtray, and that will be it.
