In need of carburetor input before buying

Okay gents I’m going to change my carburetor and intake, I haven’t been able to get the carburetor id-number since the seller only speaks Italian.

Any thought if I should cancel the buy before it’s too late, need to send money tomorrow afternoon.
Any idea what the value would be.

Is this for your 124 Sport? Looks like a solex carb and intake manifold from the early 124 sedans with ohv motors. Definitely not for a twin cam. I would cancel the buy.

If you can find a Weber 36ADL from a Lancia Gamma they are a direct bolt on to a 1800 manifold. Very nice carb just hard to find. I did write on one a couple of years ago.

This came of a late model spider with 1600cc and I guess it will fit a 1800cc also, dont they have the same bolt pattern?

Thats a Solex PHH side draft carb. Similar to a Weber DCOE sidedraft. You could fit that to a TC motor, but would need another one, link them in the center, get another manifold, and move the brake booster. The manifold will be one of the easiest parts to find.

There is an ebay store that has some great carbs. Most of the time they carry 34ADF, 36ADL, and 38ADL carbs, as well as many more. http://stores.ebay.com/ALFA1750S-CARBUR ... 513&_pgn=4

He also has a Solex 34 EIES, which looks to be similar to a 34 ADF at 1/2 the price.

That carb/maniofld will not bolt up to your twin cam head, its ment for an earlier single overhead cam Fiat engine.

That manifold did not come from a twin cam. Maybe the older 131 1600 ohv motors but not a twin cam.

Twin Cam manifolds are slanted where they bolt to the head, that manifold has a straight flange.

While a manifold thread is active, do any of y'all have a Twin Cam DCOE/Sidedraft manifold that they'd give a 'bro a deal on ? I'm considering a "Bring a Trailer" type project from WA. that'd allow for it...
