I like the tan to but the original interior (you can’t really tell in the pics) was in pretty bad condition. Sprucing it up was not an option, it all needed to go. I did consider going back with the original colors but decided in the end that I wanted to take the road less traveled.radiopilot wrote:Very nice work...but I prefer personally the first pic of the car prior (IMHO), if the original tan interior was spruced up and new carpets along with the new dash cap you'd have a super looking interior. Are those seatcovers over the original seats? How does the seatbelts stay on without the seat belt guides on the back of the seats?

Yes those are cheapo seat covers. I think they cost me $6 for both of them. Don’t laugh but I’m in the process of learning how to sew on a machine. Once I get the hang of it I’m going to have a go at recovering my visors and making my own seat upholstery.
For now the seatbelts seem to hang on the seats pretty well without the guides. I’m in the process of fabricating a set of brushed aluminum guides that look like the plastic ones that come on the pre 78’ seats.
