I wonder what type of twin carb setup was used. Also, did you notice the Fiat steering wheel?

I've wanted a Baja Bug since I was in eighth grade... I believe that's a dual side-drafting set of Weber DCOE carbs on it. If it weren't for the brake booster conflict in the Spider, I've replace my IDFs with these. You get a few more hp out of them, and they're a little bit more reliable/modern.
I'm guessing this project uses the adapter plate from Miller's Mule that mates the VW/Porsche 914 trans with the twin cam. I really love this idea, as I'm a long-time air cooled kinda guy. German cars are deeply rooted in my family, and My dad hates my Italian cars passionately...
I think the adapter plate was meant to put the twin cam into the Fiat 850, but these crazy Canadians seem to have taken it the other way.
