Nicks Super Clock Refurb

I sent my clock off to Nick to get refurbished and just got it back working, painted, cleaned and new glass. What a wonderful job and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended. Unfortunately all my other gages are now jealous and will be sent to him at the end of the season. Also posted a pic of the new custom console showing how I changed the angle and curved the veneer.
See how the clock pops!!

Jim, you do very nice work, but I think you'd acheive a more coordinated look if all of the gauges matched. Having mismatched gauges where the needles operate the opposite of each other detracts from the finished product

Are you talking about the oil and battery gauge? That clock looks good.

he's no slave to the clock :roll:
The gauges on the right side of the dash. The clock does look good, but I see no need for a clock personally

Mark I totally agree. Just had the two around while I source a couple of Fiat originals. Same size off my old Jags so good to fill the holes for now. I really don't care about having a clock either but now it looks better than the rest.

-- Other question.. Whats the purpose of the clock disable?. Good question. Disconnects the clock so that it does not wear out and get noisy and also for the battery when not used for a week or so. Also a good excuse for another button... Smile

Looks great. That's a good spot for more gauges.
I was wonder where the logos for the switches came from. They add a really nice touch, especially because they are so specific. Do they light up at all?

Thanks... The switch logo's are home made. Not currently lit however the switches do light. Will add console Led lights in the future but need to get this pig on the road.
