hazard lites/signal lites
hazard lites/signal lites
I have a new to me 1980 pina that has me stumped...does the hazard lites and the signal lite use the same flasher?...my signals work fine but I get no joy with the hazards, any clues? thanx ron
Re: hazard lites/signal lites
They both use the same flasher. Best guess - bad ground (1st guess) - could also be faulty connection or bad hazard switch.

Re: hazard lites/signal lites
second guess is a bad hazard switch. expensive to replace, but easy to swap in/out.
possibly a rebuild may do the trick:

Re: hazard lites/signal lites
As per the referenced wiring diagrams, Fuse 1 feeds the flasher through the hazard switch. This is a switched supply that only has power when the key is "on". When you trun the hazard switch "on" it should send unswitched power from F9 to the Hazard switch to the flasher. Is fuse 9 good?
