Ralph thanks for posting the pics. Sorry about the quality. Car was under the trees with lots of shaddow.
Well yesterday was the only really nice day this week so I had to go pick up my Blue 1980. (Couldn't wait, Had to have it) Three hour ride up in my green 1980 (Which I left for repair) equiped with the Brady Breeze Beater (Named by SoCalMark). The weather was perfect. Blue skies, cool temp. and no traffic. Couldn't have been a nicer ride.
My Spider was parked in front waiting for me. Dave did a great job. Welded up the side marker lights, changed the bumpers, and even moved the rear license plate location. A very professional job.
Gasses up, checked the oil and grabbed some lunch. Drive back home was a little different. Same great weather and a little traffic. One thing that I noticed was that the wind in the car interior was very strong (I've been driving around with Bradys Breeze Beater wind screen for about a month) That screen makes a big difference. Without it I felt a little beat up at the end of my ride. Had to crank up the tunes extra loud to be able to hear them. Even lost my hat on the Northeast extension at about 75mph. Guess I'll need another one.
Now I have to contact that evil SoCalMark and order a set of Rotas. Tire Rack for some skins, and out to the garage to install my Mich. Short Shifter that Mike Bouse sent me.
