Last night I went and pulled a couple parts from someone that was parting out a 1980 Fiat Spider. I scored a driver’s side seat back. I was going to go for the passenger seat thinking that the frame would be better but for some reason this driver’s seat was better than the passengers. Seamed pretty sturdy and the interior matched mine. IT's not perfect but will do until I learn how to do my own upholstery. Also scored a rear license plate light housing, which I managed to break the stud while trying to get it out. I'll make sure I can polish it up before I go and try to weld/fix the stud. Also got a nut for the odometer reset knob (not sure where original ended up) and the black plastic spacer for behind the window handle. I paid $50 for the four pieces, I wanted it for less but of course I’m cheap. I managed to clean up the new seat and install, not to bad. At least now I have some extra tan material in case I need to patch something up. Still waiting on fuel pump from local auto chain and should be good to go.
