Fog Lights Alternative

Im really liking the style of those on that white/black abarth style spider. Nice and big. Makes the car look mean and helps fill up the "hole" sans bumper.

I need to leave those holes available, still not sure if I will look for the small chrome fenders that came with the earlier cars or if I will go with the Abarth styled bumpers...

Anyone with factory fog/driving lights that can measure the diameter on those?

That is another alternative, but a little too much for me. One set of additional driving lights would be enough for me

I put fog lights on my car just to fill the void and to help see better at night. I sure hope I don't caught in the fog though. That thing is staying home.

Got these for 39.95 at the local PepBoys (Autozone also had them for the same price). I will use a back plate on the grill for now to avoid drilling anything at this time. For the photo they are just held in place with nylon tie wraps

The "New Mini" ligts are so expensive, but this pair came from Ebay UK for only 50$. Quality is very good and the price much better!

This week I´m changing the bumper for an european one, after restoring all the body. I´ll post some pics when finished.
Here you can see them better.

Those lights barely clear the hood. Anything bigger or thicker would hit the top or hit the hood when it opens.

Now to figure out how to make a spacer to put in the grill to hold them in place.

You got them for peanuts man! Que suerte! I will keep looking for a used set. That is the setup I want.

That car is going to look very classy and sharp with those early bumpers.

these are driving lights, made by Bosch. Not expensive.

Yeah, me too. Hummm.... wonder where I've seen them before?? I think that car had the early factory shoulder belts too, and some Croft souped up motor - just have to remember where I saw that...

The owner is a member of the Registro Nazionale 124 Sport Spider in Italy, the engine has been redone in Torino afaik - and the wheels are Campagnolos
