I have a friend who has a pair of front seats from a 1973 Spider. They both are in good shape, but need to be reupholstered. I want to buy them, have them reupholstered and install them in my 1979 Spider.
What would be a fair price to offer him for the seats?

I have bought seats from a non Fiat car at a u-pull-it lot near where I live for $25.00 each ($35.00 if the rails are still on them )
I have seen Spider seats on e-bay go for $25 plus shipping on up

I don't think $25 a piece is a bad deal. You'll be putting a few hundred in them getting them recovered.

The seats on my "new" '77 have the adjuster wheels on the inside...which can't be correct since you can barely get your hand in there to twist it. Maybe these are not the correct seats?
I guess I should look for some replacements.
