My muffler broke on the way to the vintage car races/show at Lime Rock Park earlier this week. I called Danny at Fun Imported Autos and Toys (http://www.funimported.com) and received the center and rear muffler for my 1983 Fiat Spider the next day.
Danny has been selling Fiats cars and parts and servicing them for years and is a great source for anything Fiat. He also has tons of used parts and cars for sale.
IAP is out of mufflers until 2010 so I figured I would mention it.
By the way, we got to take a parade lap around LRP so my car sounded like it belonged there...
Great source for parts

Re: Great source for parts
Hi Jim,
No, I got the regular muffler from Danny. The Stainless Steel muffler looks great but I blew the Fiat budget on some stereo gear, tires, and ther stuff so I settled for the regular one (for now). If you get it, let us know how it is. I am sure it is nice or Danny wouldn't sell it.

Re: SS muffler
This morning I emailed a list in to see if Danny had stock that included the SS muffler. Now word as yet!!. I was thinking of installing a straight pipe from the header down pipe direct to the new SS muffler if and when I get it. My CatConvertor just rattles and I think is partially plugged. Anyone done this and if so can one purchase an off the shelf pipe that fits in place of the Cat Converter? Or is it a bad idea?

Re: Great source for parts
You should be able to buy a "test pipe" to replace the converter.
