Sunken Dash

I've taken it out of the parts car, but it looks somewhat sunken on the driver's side. I notice the one on my driver car is too, but I don't think it is as bad. Hard to tell. Is this normal? If not, has anyone tried to straighten it somehow (seems unlikely to me).

By the way, I'm putting this Canuck speedo in to replace my California one. It'll be easier to see what speed I'm going, and now I can travel up to 220 km per hour (136 mph)

The heat and UV kills 'em all after a couple of decades. Maybe try an electric heat gun. You've got nothing to lose, since it's likely you're going to put a cap on it ultimately. If you're forced to go that route, glue foam sheeting in the depression to keep the cap from fluttering.

my speedo only goes to 140, and that was after i changed it from an 85 model

I have the same fast Spider: 220 but km/h not miles/h... Sorry
