PHOTOS of my Fiat in Progress
My son and I are doing what we can when we can. Its still work in progress. We fixed the dead cylinder and the starter that was stuck on. Those issues are in another post. This is my 1977 Spider has twin 44IDF's, Header, MSD, Rebuilt, New Canvas top. If something looks funny or out of place, thats probably cuz it aint done yet.

I use Photobucket. It's quick, easy and free! You can re-size the pictures to their medium setting, so they'll fit here.

Re: PHOTOS of my Fiat in Progress
nice! whad you do for front turn signals? cannot see that picture clear enough.
Re: PHOTOS of my Fiat in Progress
I avoided a frontal photo for now because i only have one original bumper turn signal screwed into the sheet metal. Just experimenting. Other side has nothing in it yet. I did mount driving lights in the lower radiator vent area if you look hard enough.
Re: PHOTOS of my Fiat in Progress
i did see those.
one of the most difficult decisions for those of us shaving the bumpers, is what to do with the lights. seems there is nearly as many answers are there are folks that drop the bumpers.
i threw some Hella 500's behind my grill for driving lights. gotta get around to snapping a new picture sometime soon.

Your car's so pretty, it's easy to understand why you're putting up with some of the frustration you've had recently.

Re: PHOTOS of my Fiat in Progress
I just Googled 77 Fiat Spider to get some ideas for paint b/c I've got a 77. I saw this and the wheels caught my eye. I have the exact same wheels on my 77 and this is the 1st time I've seen them on any other car. Do you know if they are original? The car looks great, what did you end up doing with the front turn signals?

Re: PHOTOS of my Fiat in Progress
My '77 had the same wheels on it when I bought it. Those were not factory, but were contemporary aftermarket rims in 1977. Perhaps a dealer installed option, or maybe just a popular owner installed "upgrade" at the time? I've seen a few cars with similar rims on them, all from the same era.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were a dealer ad on. My car had dealer ad on A/C and hardtop (and these wheels) so these style wheels could easily be a dealer ad on, in my opinion. My '77 had the same wheels on it when I bought it.
