Sorry about my original post here about the electrical system. I did not realize that their was a specific place for those types of problems. Although, I see the reason now for having that whole mess separated from the general dogmatic problems that we here are all plagued with from time to time. Anyway, thought you would all get a kick out of my latest mechanical blunder

. I originally posted that I was getting a really hot ground when testing my lighting system. Alot of my wires have either been cut, re-routed or plane old chewed trrough by rats and mice. So, as a result, sometimes I just abandon whatever original wireing that exists and just run new wireing according to the manual. So, I was having some problems testing and getting things to work and the ground to the battery was getting really hot within a few seconds. Seems that when I rewired the front turnsignal to the rear lights via the fuse box, I just "Temporarally" connected the new wires to the existing ones running to the rear of the car (tapped into the harnes running down the driver's side to the trunk).

Well, I just twisted them together and somhow they got moved and connected themselves to the body of the car.

Now that they are properly spliced together, I am happy to say that my lighting system, turn signals and running lights are all working properly.
