Post by Ragno »

Hi All,

Does any know where I can find a small euro plate like the one picture below :?: I think it would add a nice touch to Ragno

I like the skid plate on the bottom to save the oil pan. Does anyone know the exact shape of it and how it would bolt up. A drawing or a pic would be cool.

That is probably an Italian license plate and the TO in the end is what town its registered in, a qualified guess that the town is Torino

you wanna real one, or a fake one? I have both.

real euro plates aren't easy to come by even if you know someone living in europe.

the '78 is sporting an old style European plate from Germany, obtained from a wrecked sedan. the '80 is sporting a "new" style euro plate replica obtained from a mail order catalogue.... and it looks convincing enough to fool Americans that have recently visited Europe.

Has the mystery "mail order catalog" got a name? Inquiring minds want to know.

Thanks for all of the replies. I should have clarified. I'm looking for one that is small like in the picture. I can't seem to find a small one except occasionally on ebay and then the price is usually pretty steep
