New leather seats
New leather seats
Just got the new seats for the Spider. The color is called cherry and they are in thick leather. Very comfortable. The door panels resemble the seats also.
Re: New leather seats
Could be a tough fit with thoes legs. Is your Fiat going to be red too?
Re: New leather seats
ha ha, I've never seen a wooden base for a Spider seat either! how many cows were sacrificed?
Re: New leather seats
One cow per seat! Not bad! (Thank you McDonalds and Burger King). The wooden legs are an optional dealer upgrade. Doesnt come with the standard Spider.
Dave, I have a color in mind, but still a year off so it could change.

Re: New leather seats
Pope, are they new seats, or new upholstery on your original seats? And what was your source?

Wouldnt these seats make great office chairs, mount it to a pneumatic base on rollers.
Re: New leather seats
The legs make me think of the episode of Top Gear where Jeremy Clarkson made a mobile living room out of a sedan.
Re: New leather seats
I had the good fortune of seeing a preview of the door panels. Pope did a really nice job on them as well.
another year for paint? yeash! even i am getting anxious for this car to get done.

Thanks Mike,
I posted this pic elsewhere, but I'll put it here to keep it together. These are the finished door panels.

Guess Ill need to bribe him into assisting... Your stitching worked out well too! Hope to see it in person. Well need to meet half way at Mikes, Ill buy the beer.
Re: New leather seats
Oklahoma, yah I did them.
Dave, thanks. I made sure the stitching and the tuck & rolls on the seats matched the door panels.

Re: New leather seats
Thanks D,
I really cant take credit for the color. The place I bought the leather from, gave me a blow-out deal on this color because it is a color that someone special ordered and backed out. They were having a hard time getting it sold, since everyone wants black or grey. Now that its done, I dont think I could have picked a better color, and it really shows off the stitching well.
