LED Turn Signals
Has anyone tried using the new flexible LED turn signals. The previous owner replaced the bumpers with a single stainless steel bar in front and two in back. The new BMW and Cadillacs use LED for signals under their headlights. Thoughts?

You can try them, but you will have to have the load units attached with them. Otherwise they will not light. You may have some issues with the turn signal blinker.
Real reason for LED is long life. I am not sure the expense is really worth it. In my spider I do not change the bulbs very often. You can almost change all of the bulbs in the car for the cost of one LED. Hmmm
If the originals are dim, then you probably have a ground issue or dirty sockets. Either with original bulbs or LEDs will need to fix the "dirty connection" issues.

WE use LED"s on Police and emer vehicles. Some are really brite. The ones I want are costy! Ill probably use the flasher supplied my the mfgr. There are options for flash patterns, and a switch on the dash could change them.
