I have a 72 124 that I'm putting back together. Can anyone provide me with photos of parts and instructions on putting the steering wheel and horn assembly back together? When I purchased the car I received tons of parts and was told everything is there. I can add a photo of the horn pieces I have when I figure out how to add them.
Thx,
Rick

Re: Horn Assembly Request
you have a round plastic piece the has two bumps on it, that will turn off the blinker arm switch when cornering / steering wheel/ nut / spring . horn ring and button
make sure there power in the small brass tab by the column, then when the steering is on make sure there power thru the brass ring

Re: Horn Assembly Request
Thanks Jim
How does the plastic piece with the two bumps go on? Does the open part fit up under the steering wheel?
Should I have 12V on the tab at all times?
When car is on, should I have 12v to brass ring?
I also have a thin silver washer, does that go between the steering wheel and the nut?
Thanks again!
