Sometimes a product called Plexus works out well too. They use it on aircraft, boats, motor cycles, helmet face shields, etc and its great for cleaning up cloudy plastic on instrument lenses and the dash boards laminated panels on the Spiders.

I've also used something called Novus 7100, which seems to work well when the cloudiness is due to fine scratches. See for example: https://www.amazon.com/Novus-7100-Plast ... 2542&psc=1
My experience is that when the discoloration is deep into the plastic (such as through UV or heat damage), it's hard to make it right. Fine scratches confined to the surface are often fixable.
