Sounds like a great price.
HI sounds like the perfect place to have a Fiat 124.
They do have "drain or weep holes" in the floors. You might want to crawl under to see that these triangular drains are open and not closed or clogged.
Enjoy!
Rroller123: I wouldn't say rust free. There are spots of bare metal rust and some paint bubbles. However, all panels are whole, undented and most rust spots are very small, the largest being about the circumference of a baseball.
After delivery, I made a quick visual go over and took pics of every inch of the exterior and bottom and both trunk and engine bays. The following are the obvious fixes needed, and I'm sure to find more on closer evaluation:
Mechanical Issues to address:
Tire leaks 2
Rear brakes
Top frame broken at front bow
Fuel delivery system, elec in trunk
Battery hold down bracket missing
Rear end leak? Clean/check
Transmission leak? Clean/check
Driveshaft rebuild
Electrical Issues to address:
Fuel system circuit-switch in trunk?
Coolant fan circuit-switch on console?
Backup lights need connected
Side marker lights need connected
Interior light missing
Parts to be replaced:
Top and frame
Battery hold down bracket
Ignition switch
Trunk lock missing
Rear seat back missing
Left rear taillight cracked
Interior light
Some items are in 2 categories to keep my shopping list complete.
Overall I still think this was a great deal. Drivetrain seems solid, but I will do further testing. 60k miles. I think most of the time and $ will go toward cosmetic restoration.
I'll figure out how to upload a few pics for review. Feel free to chime in with YHOs and if you have a part that I need or know where I can obtain.
Mahalo (Thanks)

For parts, many members here are good sources. For new (and sometimes used as well), our commercial friends are: Auto Ricambi, Allison's Automotive, Vicks and Midwest-Bayless. "spiderparts", a member here on the forum, is also an excellent choice. Good luck, that to-do list seems quite manageable!
