You may treat it as art and decorate your home with it for a while. I did.

In the mid 60's I hung around at a Speed Shop. remember those? My friend the owner was closing and had a ton of shit to remove.
I was gifted a bunch of odd stuff including a bunch of Abarth exhaust systems. All that was left were for cars like Borgward Isabellas and such. One was for a Mercedes 190 SL which I turned into a floor lamp. I kept it intact and years later I was at the Chicago Automobile show which had a space to show private enthusiast cars.

One car was a 190 SL and while speaking with the owner he said the exhaust broke and fell to the ground. He didn't know how he would get another and drive home. I wanted my floor lamp but the Car Gods would never let me off.

So.

I told him I had one and would bring it to show the next day. The cost, $100 and worth more.

Right car, right time and the right car guy thing to do. I hope the Car Gods have mercy on my soul.

It's art and also a part. Do what you like, you bought well.

Great story about the lamp and the Merc 190 SL Mike. Hadn't thought of making a lamp with it.
Would love to see pics of it.
I'm sure the car gods have/will reward you for what you did.
I'm a firm believer in what goes around, comes around.
I was kidding about the wall thing. I just thought it was so kool looking with all them stickers on it.
It will be a shame to burn them off and splatter them with the various liquids my 68 drips and spews!
All good, at least I will always have pictures.
Looking forward to hearing my radio once the Ansa is gone!
