Shims

I swapped out a gasket to fix a leaking cam tower and now I need some shims. I know I can buy them new from the vendors but I hate paying the shipping gouge for four shims. Anyone got three 3.45s and a 3.35 to spare? I can either pay or send you others. I have LOTS of much bigger 3.7 up to about 4.5.

Per Guy Croft, ALWAYS use brand new shims. They are shaped/designed to spin inside their cups, and they take on the shape of the cam that they have been used on.

Hi Jeff,

I have two 3.45's and one 3.35, brand new. I also have 3.5, 3.4 and 3.3, if any of those would be close enough. I'm happy to share.
