When I got the lime 69 there was no seat rails on the passenger side ( floor ) so I got a set from some one .i never really looked at it until the other day
The section I got was just the whole piece that was cut out from a floor of a car, so I trimmed off the metal that I didn't need and so it would fit right. Looking at it after it was in place.i notice it was for the driver side. ( shoot ) I thought. So looking at it you would leaned towards the door if this was in placed and use as is. So I took my two foot level and ran it across the upper floor ( door sill edge) and to the tunnel edge. I wasn't looking for it to be level. But it was darn close.not that it even matters. I took my tape and measure the distance from the upper top edge of the rail to bottom or top of the level. Would not have matter in where you took the reading.just as long as it was in the same when you measure the other side
So the driver side rails where 1/4 inch differnt
So now going to the passenger side I aligned the rail the same as the drivers.that way I can get a close measurement ' in doing so the rail close to the tunnel was 1/4 lower then the rail on the drivers side ( by the tunnel)
The other rail is 2 inch lower. I can understand why because this is whole section is for the drivers side
My point in this can I just get a 2" thick piece and have it welded on the bottom then weld is all to the floor
