I have notch out the front support part that the radiator sits against on my 69 ' how much do I cut back. Or how do I know how much

What is the purpose of notching out the support.

Im up grading the engine on my 69 to a 2.0 and the radiator will be bigger so I have to knot his back like the later models. Right. I was told so I guess

you only want to notch it as far as the lip protrudes on the radiator support
