I am preparing to finally replace my top after receiving a very good used CS1 front bow from Chris Oberti which was exactly as he described and packaged to ensure it arrived intact. Only negative is that the factory pins for the top cables had been drilled out and replaced with pop-rivets. Still a good value and great service.
After I got the used bow all prepped, pickled, primed and painted inside and out I ordered a front gasket and some new stainless steel top bow latch screws and was sent dash screws instead by mistake. I informed the vendor of the error in packaging my order and today via US mail I received the correct screws in a very stout hand made envelope. Vick's must have simply made up an envelope and rushed them right out instantly the moment they received my brief email about the mix up.
That is really great customer service! Way to go Vick's!
